			<description>Kane served in 1st Armd Regt from 1999-200?. He had a fall last Sunday Night (15th Nov) and was knocked unconcious. After a time, his life support machines were turned off and he unfortunately passed away on Wednesday(18th Nov). His funeral will be held at St Brigids, Nerang, Qld on Tuesday 24th Nov at 1130hrs. He is survived by his two young children.</description>

I'm seeking info re two aslects of the above: 



(i) was an ARVN Cav troop equivalent to our 3 Cav troop or was it a squadron equivalent?; 



(ii) was 2nd Troop 7 ARVN Cav equipped with M113A1s (albeit in different configurations to ours) or did it also have tanks within its organisation?

The Centurion mine roller conversion was to be used to detonate mines imbedded in roadways but it failed before its first mission.
