CENTURION MBT 169043 1A STH VIETNAM RESTORATION

RE This vehicle and Paratus Cup. 169043 was indeed involved in the winning Tank Troop in 1976. At the time it was Callsign 12C, commanded by Cpl Peter Gordon Branagan, now Major Branagan OAM.

As for 1977, there was no comp as the Centurion crews, (i was one of them) were involved in cross training to Leopard and EX First Light at Woomera S.A.

Callsign 12A, 169013
Callsign 12B, 169005 This vehicle is currently owned by the ex CO 1 AR,
Lt Col Peter Jarrett, and i believe is being sold to the
1st Armoured Regt Assoc.

while on leave from operations in East Timor september i managed to find some time to go look at the new beast
She will be getting loaded in a few weeks and heading to the Brisbane area where the restoration will begin back to her former Vietnam glory.
